Dreams

I sit in a classroom, staring at a wall. Not having anything better to do, I let my dreams fly. My mind wanders through sunlit forests. The golden rays bounce and glimmer off of the river. The trees are dressed in fiery reds and yellows. A light wind rustles the leaves and tugs at my hair. I walk barefoot through my dream, leaving the harsh fluorescent lights and unforgiving desks behind. Birds call to one another, and I answer their song with one of my own. I carry my violin with me, playing as I go. There are no mistakes, just music. The melody runs through my hands and fingers like I've played it my whole life. I suppose I have been. It is the song my Creator gave me to play, and it is perfect the way he wrote it. There may be difficult parts that do not sound quite right at times, but it is exactly what he wanted me to play.
My thoughts run rampant through my head, only to be rudely shattered by the bell.

The Scents of Summer

Wow. It's been an entire month since I've posted last. I promise I'll do better! haha. I've been pretty busy lately, taking pictures and doing algebra mostly. Next fall I'm going to Northern Highschool after being homeschooled all my life. This should be interesting... Thus the reason why I'm doing algebra when I should be on vacation... :) I want to get into the Honors math and science courses, and since this past year I only completed pre-algebra, I'm taking Algebra 1 over the summer months. Since my dad has been helping me, it's actually been kind of fun!

This is a picture I took outside our house-- a white peony in front of our rose bush. ^_^

Hey guess what? THE GRASS IS SHOWING!!!!!! I can't wait for the crocuses to start blooming again. One of my most favorite times of the year! My other favorite is fall, when the leaves change colors. =) Here's a picture of some crocuses from last year. They were really pretty! P.S. I finally did post that story. Snow Daze

It was really pretty out in the woods the other day, and believe me, by the time I got back to the house I was in a daze. it was pretty, but really bright!! And I had snow fall on my head/camera/face multiple times... =)

This is Frodo, one of my favorite characters from the books/movies Lord of the Rings. In the movies he is played by Elijah Wood, and I think he did an amazing job!!!
